Our coverage usually begins at the home
of the bride approximately 2 hours before the ceremony. Here we like to
capture the bride dressing if possible, so that there is a transition from
before to after. Discretion is something we pride ourselves on and our brides
can rest assured that there will be nothing on the DVD that they need be
concerned about. We move on to the ceremony with some
time to spare so that we can video the groom and his men as well as guests
arriving. Then we capture the arrival of the bride and obviously the entire
ceremony. We follow on to the photography session afterwards
and then leave to arrive at the reception with enough time to spare so that
we can show the layout of the reception centre while the room is still empty
of guests. All of the important moments of the reception are captured and we
stay until the bride and groom leave at the end of the night (extra time past
We do not ask anyone to perform or pose
for our cameras at any time during the day, preferring to capture the natural
progression of events as they occur. While you are busy posing for your
photographer, you will be completely natural for us. The DVD is edited with titles and
childhood photos on the beginning (photos are optional but do not incur an
additional charge). We like to cater for your taste with regards to style,
special effects, black and white footage etc., and then we finish the
production with a sepia flashback that reviews the day's events. The music
used throughout the DVD is your choice, and we'll gladly guide you if you
need help. We are open to incorporating ideas that you may have seen
demonstrated elsewhere, and will try to create a wedding DVD that expresses
your personality. Or if you
prefer, just relax and we'll take care of everything. |

The Perceptions
name is well known in the wedding industry. We figured that if people liked our work
they would tell other people. And they did. We limit the number of weddings we do
each year and we will turn away work rather than keep up an exhausting
schedule. In this way we make sure we are always fresh. It also means we can
have your DVD ready four weeks or sooner after your wedding. Clients with

We have
a distinct style that includes creative use of black and white sequences and elegant
use of effects. It's the style we have developed over many years and we're
proud of it.

We use broadcast quality DVC-PRO Digital
cameras which are widescreen to conform with the new age of LCD and Plasma screens,
rather than the outdated 4:3 squarer picture format. As technology advances,
we shift with it. Editing is compiled on state of the art
non-linear systems using Apple computers with Final Cut Pro software. |
